La Usurpadora
La Usurpadora
Paola Miranda (Sandra Echeverría), the First Lady of Mexico, lives a hell next to the most important man in the country: President Carlos Bernal (Andrés Palacios). She feels like another piece of furniture in the presidential residence and, as nothing resembles what she expected, she creates a master plan the day she finds out that she is adopted and that she has a twin sister: forcing her sister, Paulina Doria (Echeverría), to assume her role as first lady and then kill her the day of Cry of Dolores. Thus, Paola, simulating her own death, will be able to enjoy a new life with her lover and, in addition, she will have avenged herself on the woman who she believes is guilty of having separated her from her biological mother. But her plan fails, because Paulina survives the attack. As the days go by, both sisters become enemies, because Carlos falls deeply in love with Paulina without suspecting who she really is.
